(UPDATED) For one month beginning 12 p.m. of March 28, 2020, Cebu City is under an enhanced community quarantine in a bid to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Beginning 12 a.m. of March 30, the entire Cebu province also went on lockdown. Borders with Cebu City are now closed and only healthcare workers and personnel delivering essential products or performing essential services will be allowed to get past the checkpoints. All others are mandated to stay at home.
Supermarkets, groceries, pharmacies and other businesses that sell necessities remain open, but the suspension of public transportation systems makes it hard to move around.
This has led to a surge in demand for delivery services and the business community, including the mom-and-pop and micro enterprises, was quick to respond. In the time of the novel coronavirus, these are some of businesses that are likely to survive the public health crisis.
We have narrowed down the list to stores that continue to offer delivery services despite the travel restrictions during the quarantine period.
