The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) was awarded again as the Most Outstanding Chamber in the Visayas and in the Philippines during the virtual 46th
Philippine Business Conference and Expo (PBC&E) via videoconferencing app Zoom on October 8, 2020.
CCCI was cited for its commendable efforts in accelerating business growth in the Province of Cebu. Its exemplary leadership and dynamism contribute to business growth and local economic development, the PCCI said.
This year’s award emphasized the ability of local chambers to help thebusiness community through innovative services and advocacy for policies and programs that enable businesses to survive and become sustainable and competitive in the long run.
The award was presented by DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez, PCCI president Ambassador Benedicto Yujuico, PCCI chairperson Ma. Alegria Limjoco, 46th PBC&E chairperson Enunina Mangio, PCCI director Emeritus Ambassador Francis Chua, International Affairs and MOCA Committee chairman Renato Simbulan, and PCCI awards committee chairman Edgardo Lacson.
The CCCI has been cited as the Most Outstanding Chamber of Commerce in the Visayas for 12 years, Most Outstanding Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines for 9 years, and Most Outstanding Chamber in the Philippines Hall of Fame for 3 years. (PR)
