Updated: Dec 29, 2019

THE minimum wage in Central Visayas region is set to go up by P18 to a range of P331 to P404 per day.

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) approved the P18 adjustment on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. This will be submitted for approval by the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC).

After NWPC approval, the wage board said Wage Order ROVII-22 will be published in newspapers. The new rate will take effect 15 days after publication.
